Kalu Chinedu K is a hospitality professional, entrepreneur, and visionary leader with more than a decade of experience in hospitality management, customer service, operations, business development, and tourism across the UAE and Qatar. His journey is a testament to resilience, faith, and determination. As the firstborn in his family, Kalu embraced responsibility from a young age and developed a deep passion for serving others. His belief has always been simple: when you help people genuinely, those acts of kindness return as blessings. That philosophy continues to shape both his leadership style and business vision. In 2015, Kalu relocated to Dubai to pursue greater opportunities. He began his career in hospitality as a Runner before earning promotions to Waiter, Supervisor, Assistant Restaurant Manager, and ultimately Restaurant Manager. Every promotion was earned through discipline, hard work, consistency, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Throughout his career, Kalu has successfully launched and managed multiple hospitality businesses and new branch openings. He played key leadership roles at Telegraph Café, kumeko sushi restaurant ,James Café, Les dangereux Restaurant, Hampton’s Café, and Battleworld Gaming center,where he was trusted to build teams, train employees, improve operations, and drive business growth. One of his greatest strengths is developing people. He has recruited, mentored, and trained professionals—from experienced staff to individuals with no previous hospitality background—helping many build successful careers. His leadership philosophy is centered on empowering others, creating opportunities, and leading by example. Like many successful entrepreneurs, Kalu’s journey was not without obstacles. He faced discrimination, rejection, and difficult moments that tested his resolve. Yet he refused to allow those experiences to define him. Inspired by the advice of one of his mentors—“Work hard, don’t talk too much. One day, your work will speak for you.”—he remained focused on delivering results, allowing his performance to become his reputation. After years of helping grow other organizations, Kalu recognized it was time to build something of his own. Guided by faith and driven by purpose, he founded HIKINGS Global Tourism, a company created to deliver unforgettable tourism, hospitality, entertainment, and lifestyle experiences throughout Qatar and the GCC. His vision extends beyond traditional tourism. HIKINGS Global Tourism was established with a mission to make every guest feel valued, respected, and treated like royalty. Kalu believes that luxury should not be reserved only for the wealthy. Through carefully designed experiences, he wants individuals and families from every background to enjoy what he proudly calls “The King’s Experience.” Today, Kalu continues to build HIKINGS Global Tourism with a commitment to excellence, integrity, innovation, and exceptional customer service. His mission is simple: to create lasting memories, bring joy to people’s lives, and prove that every person deserves to be treated like a king.
